Yoji Takeshige Profile
Born in Philadelphia in 1964. Dropped out of Tama Art University's Oil Painting Department.
1984: Art debut with “Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise”
1988: Participated in “My Neighbor Totoro”
1991: Joined Studio Ghibli
Worked on nearly all Ghibli films since Totoro.
Holds the record for most art direction credits at Studio Ghibli.
2023: Began teaching background art at painting classes and participating in workshops and events nationwide with Nicker Paints.
Appeared on Nicker Paints' YouTube channel.
